Get started with AI in 15 minutes. No code. No jargon. Just the essentials.

1

Sign up for an AI coding tool

Pick one. Both work the same way — you talk, it builds.

2

Install Superwhisper

This lets you talk to AI anywhere on your computer. Hold Option + Space, speak, release. Your words appear as text wherever your cursor is.

3

Create a workspace folder

Open Finder (Mac) or File Explorer (Windows). Go to your home folder. Create a new folder called "workspace". This is where all your projects will live.

4

Set up GitHub

GitHub is where your work gets saved and versioned — like a backup system that also lets AI work on your projects. Go to github.com, create a free account with your email. When Claude Code asks you to connect to GitHub, just follow the prompts. You don't need to understand Git — Claude handles that part.

5

Open Claude and point it at your folder

Open Claude Code. It will ask you to select a folder. Choose the workspace folder you just created. That's it — you're connected.

6

Have your first conversation

Type or say: "Interview me until we're both 100% clear on what I'm building." Claude will ask you questions about your project. Answer honestly. When you're both clear, say "let's build it" and watch it go. Tip: hit /plan first to get Claude to think before it acts.

You're good to go.

Steps 1–6 are all you need to start building. Everything below is optional — it just makes things faster.

7

Install the Open Brain

This is optional but powerful. The brain makes AI remember everything across sessions — it compounds over time. Your knowledge, your data, on your machine. Free version gets you started. Full kit includes pre-built skills, setup wizard, and video walkthrough.

What happens next

Once you've done these steps, you've got a working AI setup. From here, you can build websites, automate workflows, manage your business — all by having a conversation.
